Who we are
Kiirua Caregivers Training Institute (“the institute”, “we”) is based in Kiirua, Meru County, Kenya. Contact: kiiruacaregivers@gmail.com, 0738 900 732.
What we collect
When you use an enquiry form we collect your name, phone number, email address (optional), course of interest, preferred intake (optional) and your message. For partnership enquiries we collect your organisation name and details. Our hosting server may record technical data such as your IP address and browser type.
How we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and to run the website securely. We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form.
Who sees it
Enquiries are sent by email to the institute’s mailbox, which is provided by Google (Gmail). Our website is stored with a web hosting provider. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when you visit. We do not sell your information.
Cookies
We use one essential session cookie to protect the enquiry form against abuse. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only as long as needed to respond and manage admissions. The retention period is to be confirmed by the institute.
Your rights
Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019, you may ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent. Contact us using the details above. You may also contact the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including server-side checks on forms. No internet service is completely secure.
Children
Visitors under 18 should ask a parent or guardian before sending their details.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
